Fr. Dairo Rico


Fr. Dairo Rico was born in Colombia, SA.  He attended Seminary in Colombia before transferring to Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans.  He was ordained to the Priesthood in the Archdiocese of Atlanta.  He is currently a Parochial Vicar at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City, GA. While in Seminary in Bogota, Father Rico worked with the Sisters of the Servants of Christ.  He was intrigued by the mission of the sisters and their work with underprivileged children and got involved in helping them.  Because of his passion for the orphanage, he founded Shepherds of the Meek.


Alice Rodriguez

Board President

Alice was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA.  She and her husband have been married for 29 years and have two daughters.  She and her husband have been Georgia residents and business owners since 1991.  She is currently a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.  With first-hand personal experience in international adoptions (one from an orphanage) causes which are of most interest to her are orphaned children specifically those with special needs and reactive attachment disorder.


Jimmy Preau

Board Vice President

Jimmy was born and reared in New Orleans and is a graduate of LSU.  He has been married to Sandra for 46 years and they have four grown children and four grandchildren.  they are both retired and have lived in Peachtree City, GA for 19 years.  Jimmy has served as an Assistant Scout Leader, is a Past Grand Knight in the Knights of Columbus, and was involved in parent clubs and fundraising when his children attended Catholic Schools in Louisiana, Alabama, and Florida.  Jimmy and Sandra have been involved with Shepherds of the Meek since the founding and have traveled to Colombia with Fr. Rico the last three years to see the work of the nuns of Sievas de Cristo Sacerdote and to assess their needs for financial support.


Carolyn J. Hohenberger

Board Secretary

Carolyn is a native of Toledo, Ohio, a graduate of St. Ursula Academy and studied Legal Assisting at the University of Toledo.  She and her husband Gary have been married for 30 years and have been members of Holy Trinity since 2000.  They have 2 daughters, officers in the Coast Guard, and one granddaughter.  Carolyn currently is an Administrative Assistant at Holy Trinity and was a former member of the Toledo Area Legal Assistants.  Carolyn has been a member of Shepherds of the Meek since its inception and handles the arrangements for the annual visits to Colombia.​


Daniel Worley

Board Treasurer

Dan is a native of Baltimore, MD, third of eight siblings.  A graduate of Berry College, he now is preparing for the next phase of life.  He and his wife Michelle have been married since 1980 and have been members of Holy Trinity since 20 years, Dan is active with various organizations within the church.   They have two children and three grandchildren.  Dan has worked 37 plus years in medical practice management, and has serves on the board of two other 501(c)(3) organizations.

M. Joseph Bowman

Board Member

Joe was born in Anderson, SC and moved almost immediately to Atlanta, GA.  After living briefly in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and for way too long in Detroit, MI, he moved to Peachtree City in 1994.  He has been married to his wife Andrea for 38 years and they have two children and five grandchildren.  He has a proud history with various service organizations including:  Little League Coach, Amigos for Christ Missionary (Nicaragua), Booster Club President at both McIntosh and Our Lady of Mercy high schools, HOA President and has been an active member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church for 24 years.
